I need to use spell check before I publish my blogs posts. Will work on that.

My camera phone (verizon Palm 700W) takes terrible photos as you can see. I like the phone otherwise.

Grand Canyon, Grand Photo

This was taken on my Journey to see the Colorado River at the bottom of The Grand Canyon with my brother Charles. We started the day on the south rim of the canyon, made the journey to the bottom, and made it back out alive - IN THE SAME DAY. It was the most strenous, physically exhausting day of my life. It was worth every second of pain to see the spectacular beauty of the canyon.

New Orleans Update

This is a photo from the devastated 9th ward. This is the scene for miles and miles in every direction. The city has been drained of all the water for many months. Clean up continues but as the picture shows it will be years before anybody will return. Fortunately most of the city fared much better. The French Quarter is just as quaint as it's always been. The CBD is bustling with activity. Restaurants and Cafe's are opening again. The casino is ready to take your money. We just need to get some tourists back to revive the economy. Come on down. 

One of my Hobbies

Here's my canoe resting on the beach. This was early spring in 2006 with Bernadette (she's still trying to get a photo as good as this.) We took a break for lunch where Colyell Creek meets the Amite River in Livingston Parish, LA.

I really like this picture. Don't know if I will win any awards for it. From Patch's standpoint it's probably like looking at a glamour shot of J Lo.

I saw this cute kid lost on the beach. Let me tell you - he had ATTITUDE!!
Turns out he's my brother Charles' son. I called family services but they couldn't find the beach.
