Breakfast Anyone?

Early this morning I heard some chirping coming from a hanging basket in our patio. I knew a Mommy bird had been building a nest in the basket - she didn't like it when I would water. I thought she had abandoned the nest idea because I hadn't seen her for a few days. To my surprise there were 3 little chicks waiting for Mommy to bring them breakfast. I'll keep ya posted on this one.

New Blog!!!

Good Evening All,

Today is June 14th 2006. My family and I are vacationing in Destin, Florida with Charles, Marian, Joseph, and Brian Wickersham.

I'm taking some time to start my new blog. It's an attempt to share some of my favorite pix, thoughts, and websites I might stumbleupon, along with anything else that comes to mind.

The picture above is from the first night of vacation. The girls are all headed for some shopping.

Still Life

I took this photo a few mornings ago just before work. I'm really enjoying my new Canon Rebel XT. I highly recomend this camera. I'm able to do more creative photography than I ever dreamed of with my old point-n-shoot.
