Just playin with the camera and lighting again. I'm starting to think lighting is harder than the camera. I'm really struggling with learning how to get the light the way I like it.

Here is a self-portrait I did about 2 months ago. The bad part about being the photographer is that there is never any photos of you. I decided to take matters into my own hands and pose for a few shots.

Ohlone Hills

Dan says this place is where the Ohlone Indians are from. I've never even heard of an Ohlone tribe so I'm trusting him on this one. Regardless the place is beautiful. Check out the moon rising above the hill on the left side of the tree to the right.

On My Way to California

for an impromptu Wickersham-McDowell reunion. Well, on second thought, maybe I should say a few cousins hangin round drinking a few beers! I can't wait.

Harmonica Man

Just a little street music on Royal Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The guy was OK, but quite frankly I like the setting and the picture better than his music.

Lafayette Park, New Orleans

JoAnna and I, along with the kids spent a few hours in New Orleans on Sunday. The St. Charles Streetcar line runs right in front of the red brick building in the background. It's a beautiful little park.

It Was a Great Morning Until........

I went outside and saw the chemtrails over my house. God forbid, the Louisiana sky is starting to resemble California's. What's next-will Arnold fire Sergey???

This is the view from my back patio.  I took this Friday morning before work.  I love this type of fog.

Guest Bathroom

I finished remodeling the bathroom in the fall - I just never took the time to post the photos.  I switched all the bath hardware, faucets, shower head to Oiled Bronze.  I also painted the walls and changed the trim color to the khaki color.  I also put in a new SUPER QUIET vent fan, new light above the shower and installed a curved shower rod which makes the tub feel much larger.  The mirror and light fixture are also new.  JoAnna did the decorating and picked out the colors.
